Put AI agents to work on your social media

What your AI agent can do in Mixpost
Ask in plain language. The agent turns it into posts, schedules, and reports.
Write and adapt posts
The agent drafts the post and tailors a version for each network, ready for you to review.
"Draft a post for Instagram and LinkedIn announcing the Kadehuis viewing day."
Schedule and queue
Pick a date and time, publish right away, or drop the post into the next free slot of your queue.
"Schedule the Kadehuis phase two draft for Tuesday at 9am."
Post at the best time
Mixpost learns when each audience engages most, so the agent can schedule every account for its strongest slot.
"Schedule this for the best time to reach our audience next week."
Report on performance
Follower growth, reach, engagement, and how each post performed, summarized in a sentence instead of a dashboard.
"Which of our accounts grew the most last month?"
Handle media and tags
Upload images and videos from a link, attach them to posts, and keep campaigns organized with tags.
"Add this drone video to the topping-out post and tag it Kadehuis."
Keep the calendar tidy
Find posts, edit them, move them to another day, or send them back to drafts without opening the dashboard.
"Show me everything scheduled for next week."
Three ways to connect your agent
Use the AI tools you already have. Mixpost meets them where they work.
In your AI chat app
Add Mixpost as a connector and sign in. In Claude and ChatGPT there is nothing to install and no key to copy. It runs on MCP, the open standard for connecting AI assistants to apps.
In your terminal
Coding agents use the mixpost CLI or the MCP server. The CLI speaks JSON, names accounts the way you do, and asks before it deletes anything, so agents, scripts, and CI can run it safely.
In your workflows
Give an n8n AI agent the Mixpost tools, or build your own with the REST API and react to new posts with webhooks.
Connected in about a minute
Pick your agent. Personal keys come from the API page in your Mixpost user menu.
Step 1
In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. In ChatGPT, open Plugins → + → Add custom MCP server.
Step 2
Paste your Mixpost URL:
https://cloud.mixpost.app/p/mcp
Step 3
Sign in to Mixpost and click Allow access. Then ask: "List my workspaces."
Run this in your terminal, with your personal key:
claude mcp add --transport http mixpost https://cloud.mixpost.app/p/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer <your-key>"
Then type /mcp in Claude Code to check that Mixpost is connected.
Save your personal key in an environment variable, then add the server:
export MIXPOST_TOKEN="<your-key>" codex mcp add mixpost --url https://cloud.mixpost.app/p/mcp --bearer-token-env-var MIXPOST_TOKEN
Run codex mcp list to check that Mixpost is connected.
Add Mixpost to .cursor/mcp.json in your project, or to ~/.cursor/mcp.json for every project:
{ "mcpServers": { "mixpost": { "url": "https://cloud.mixpost.app/p/mcp" } } }
Then click Connect next to Mixpost in Cursor's MCP settings and sign in.
Install the Mixpost CLI and log in with your personal key:
brew install inovector/tap/mixpost mixpost auth login
Your agent can now run commands like mixpost post list --status scheduled. Windows, Docker, and Go installs are in the CLI docs.
Running Mixpost on your own server? Use your own address instead, for example https://your-domain.com/mcp.
Try it with your own agent
Create your account, connect your social accounts, then hand your agent the first task.
Free for 7 days on Cloud. Agent access is included from the Momentum plan and in every self-hosted Pro and Enterprise license.
You stay in control
Your agent works for you, never around you.
It acts as you
The agent has your role in each workspace. It can't see or change anything you can't.
Approval comes first
In workspaces that require approval, posts from an agent wait for a person to sign off.
Read-only when you want it
Connect an agent as a Viewer and it can read posts and analytics without changing a thing.
You choose what connects
Every app asks for your permission first. Disconnect it, or rotate a key, whenever you want.
Nothing gets lost
Deleted posts go to the trash first, so you can restore anything an agent removed.
Your server, your rules
Self-host Mixpost and every agent connection runs on your own server. Your admin decides which apps can connect.
